He has also met with senior Kenyan government officials, including Cabinet Secretary for National Treasury and Planning Ambassador Ukur Yatani Kanacho, who is the African Development Bank Group's Governor for Kenya.

Adesina visited the site of the African Development Bank-funded Kenol-Sagana-Marua Highway, which the government is expanding as part of Kenya's section of the Cape to Cairo Trans-Africa Highway. The highway is being upgraded to facilitate intra-Africa trade.

Dr Adesina will share with you details of the Bank's role in Kenya's socio-economic development and regional integration. He will also talk about how the Bank is helping the country deal with current challenges such as the impact of Covid19 pandemic, climate change and Russia's war in Ukraine.
