Africa: Continent Nears 11.8 Million Confirmed Cases of Covid-19

As of June 15, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 11,792,787  while  323,261,238 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached  254,422 and  9,927,952 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases of  3,979,836 and  101,550 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (  1,177,842 ) , Tunisia (  1,044,426 ), Egypt (  515,645 ), Libya (  502,040 ),  Ethiopia (  480,450  ), and Kenya (  327,425 ).
