Africa: Over 12 Million Cases of Covid-19 Confirmed Across Continent

Harare — As of June 26, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached  12,023,588 while 315,484,942 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached  254,905 and    9,979,024 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases of   3,991,944 and  101,727 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (  1,202,461 ) , Tunisia (  1,046,703 ), Egypt ( 515,645 ), Libya ( 502,110 ),  Ethiopia ( 487,217 ), and Kenya ( 331,966 ).
