Angola: 2022 Elections - Unita Trains Over 100 Electoral Agents in Cunene

Ondjiva - The main opposition UNITA party started this Monday, in the city of Ondjiva, southern Cunene province, the training of 189 electoral agents, within the framework of the general elections of 24 August.

Lasting two days, the methodological seminar addresses topics such as the party's strategy in elections, the role of electoral agents by specialty, the role of the list delegate, mobilization and control of the polling stations.

According to the assistant secretary general of UNITA for Municipalities and Local Power, Lázaro Kakunha, the training aims to reinforce the participants' knowledge.

The seminar is promoted by the coordination of the 6th Electoral Region of UNITA, which corresponds to the provinces of Huíla, Namibe and Cunene.

Angolans will go to the polls on August 24, for the fifth time, where more than 14.399.000 voters are expected, of which 22,560 are abroad.
