Somalia: The Auditor General Says No Deal Can Reach Until New Govt in Place

The Auditor General of Somalia has canceled a number of agreements signed by the caretaker govt which amounted to $millions.

The Auditor General also announced that no govt department can enter any agreement until an official cabinet is appointed.

The Office of the Auditor General has warned government institutions to enter any main agreement until a new cabinet is formed.

The office said it has learned that some institutions are involved in deals worth millions of US dollars.
