Kenya: I Have Seen Caanan, the Land of Milk and Honey, the Land of No Woman No Cry - Odinga

Nairobi — Azimio La Umoja – One Kenya Presidential candidate Raila Odinga says Canaan is in sight as he made his final call at the Nyayo Stadium ahead of Tuesday’s general election.

Speaking during his last campaign rally, Odinga expressed confidence that the future was bright for Kenyans in the Azimio government.

“We are on the verge of a great victory. I, Raila Amolo Odinga, have seen Canaan; the land of milk and honey. The land of “…No woman, No cry”.  I have seen the Promised Land; the land of The Redemption Song,” said Odinga.

Even as Odinga sang redemption song to his supporters insisting that freedom was in sight, he emphasized that the victory to the land of Canaan can and will be won on the ballot.

“But we know “…the battle is HARDEST, when victory is NEAREST”. Get ready, my dear Kenyans and keep the spirit of “Alutta Continua.

“Next Tuesday, all Azimio followers have to be at their polling stations by 6 am and cast their vote,” he said.

The Azimio La Umoja One Kenya flag bearer stated that his government will liberalize this country economically devoid of tribalism and corruption.

“Fellow Kenyans, Wangari and Amolo are not simply running to win an election.  We are running to make Kenya a first-class global democracy and economy,” Odinga said.

“We are running to build a Kenya of hope and opportunity; a Kenya not of 45 individual tribes but one big Kenyan tribe,” he added.
