Angola: Namibe - New Riot Police Unit Set Up

Moçâmedes — At least 150 new members of the National Police are joining as of Saturday the first police riot unit in the south-west Namibe province.

The staff were presented in the new unit located 6 kilometers from the capital of Namibe.

The acting provincial commander of the National Police, deputy commissioner Fernando António, said to ANGOP that the unit has been set up to reinforce the national police in handling the criminal cases.
