Angola: First Phase of Application for Access to New Housing Project Begins

Ondjiva - The first phase of registration of applications for access to the 484 apartments of the Dom Fernando Guimarães Kevano satellite town, in the southern Cunene Province, began this Tuesday (5th), in an act reserved for public and private institutions.

The information was provided to ANGOP by the spokesperson for the housing access commission, Ezequias Valungameka, stressing that the

process will benefit civil servants, public and private companies.

This stage also includes bids for the operation of the 72 commercial units.

The project is built in an area of 21 hectares and will have one thousand three-bedroom flats, incorporated in buildings of two and four floors, in a total of 165 buildings.

This is the first satellite town being built in Cunene Province, It is budgeted at US$182.9 million, whose project also includes a children's centre and kindergarten, a health post, primary and secondary schools.
