Somalia: Bomb Blast Reported At a Hotel in Kismayo

A car bomb exploded at the gates of a hotel in Kismayo city, the seat of Jubaland state on Sunday noon.

The blast was followed by gunfire after assailants thought to be Al-Shabaab fighters made their way into the hotel building.

The details are still sketchy with no statement from local police on the attack.
