The Covid-19 pandemic has caused significant disruption in global supply chains, and with a climate crisis and the war in Ukraine, regional and global supply chains have become even more vulnerable in critical sectors, including food, fertilizer, and manufacturing. To tackle these multiple crises, building and operating sustainable and resilient supply chain connectivity has become more critical than ever.

As development partners, multilateral and public development banks continue to play a significant role in the development of sustainable and resilient supply chain connectivity in Greater Mekong Subregion, which is a key part of the "factory of the world."

This webinar will share Asian collective efforts to develop and build resilience in cross-border trade and logistics supply chains (including hard and soft infrastructure) and discuss public development banks' role in promoting regional connectivity in other parts of the world, especially in Africa.
