Kenya: Treasury PS Nominee Raymond Omollo Says He is Worth Sh450 Million

Nairobi — The Principal Secretary nominee for interior Raymond Omollo says his net worth is Sh450 million.

Omollo stated that his wealth comprises of pieces of land in various counties including Homabay, Kajiado Machakos and Nairobi, properties, shares, Money Market Fund savings, farming and mining.

Raymond who is currently appearing before the National Asssembly Administration and Internal Affairs Commitee for vetting is set to join the powerful Ministry which deals with country's security matrers if approved by the commitee.

He is currently the Managing Director at the Lake Basin Authority.

If approved, Omollo will take over from Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho and will be working under Professor Kindiki Kithure who is the Cabinet Secretary.
