Angola: Luanda Governor Calls for Retrieval of Moral, Civic Values

Luanda — Luanda governor Manuel Homem Wednesday advised the population to respect and preserve civic and moral principles to ensure better society.

The governor made this request during his visit to the sheltering center for elderly, during which he paid tribute to a 105-year old Deolinda Domingas Manuel, ahead of 447th anniversary of Luanda city on Wednesday.

Manuel Homem said that respect and humanisation should be part of the inhabitants of Luanda, especially during the celebration of the capital city.

According to the governor, if each citizen conveys a gesture of love and a sign of understanding and approach, the country can only gain and grow.
