The African Development Bank and the Mauritius Procurement Policy Office (PPO) will launch a report on the island nation's public procurement system at a webinar on 15 February 2023. The bank partnered with the Mauritius government to conduct the assessment using MAPS, an international standard tool for evaluating public procurement systems.

The report--and an executive summary--identifies key findings, lays out the strengths and weaknesses of the procurement system, and provides recommendations to guide the government as it prioritizes public reforms. The Bank and PPO will share their findings and recommendations.
