The event will take place on the margins of the 36th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union.

The event will be an opportunity to review progress made by African Union Member States in tackling malnutrition in Africa. It will also propose strategies to accelerate progress in the run-up to 2025, when the continent is expected to achieve Malabo targets.
