Where: African Development Bank Group headquarters (CCIA), Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire

Mr. Ajay Banga, will visit the Abidjan headquarters of the African Development Bank Group on Monday, 6 March 2023.

Banga will meet with African Development Bank Group President, Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, members of the bank group's senior management, and directors of the group's board.

Banga will make a brief comment to the media at 2:45.

On 23 February, President Joe Biden announced Ajay Banga as the United States' nominee for President of the World Bank Group. The institution's current president, David Malpass, recently announced his intention to step down by the end of June 2023.

Banga announced this week that he will travel to several countries and organizations to learn about their priorities and concerns.
