Kenya: President Ruto to Lead a Thanksgiving Service in Tharaka Nithi

Nairobi — President William Ruto will on Sunday lead a thanksgiving service in Tharaka Nithi County.

Governor Muthomi Njuki will host the President for the service that will take place at the Kirubia stadium.

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and a host of other Kenya Kwanza leaders will attend the thanksgiving service.

The County overwhelmingly voted for President Ruto in the August 2022 election.

During the service, Azimio Leader Raila Odinga's latest push to have nationwide mass action in protest of the government's failure to address his demands will also feature during the service.

Odinga's latest threat of product boycotts will also elicit a response from the President and his allies.

President Ruto has remained firm in his resolve to fulfill his duties and has been categorical that he will not give in to Odinga's demands.
