Kisumu — At least seven people have died following an accident in Migori on Saturday after a truck lost control and rammed into pedestrians.

Migori County Commander Mark Wanjala said the 7am accident plunged some people into River Migori and efforts to retrieve them were on going.

Wanjala said 6 people died on the spot while one person died while receiving treatment at Migori County Hospital.

"Three others are in critical condition, but under medication," said Wanjala.
