Rwanda: Mani Martin Set to Launch 'Nomade' Album

Renowned Rwandan musician, Mani Martin, will soon launch his sixth album, marking a significant milestone in his illustrious career. With an extraordinary talent for blending traditional African rhythms with contemporary sounds, Mani Martin has captured the hearts of music enthusiasts. This album promises to be a captivating musical journey that will showcase his immense talent and creative prowess. The album release live concert is slated for Friday, May 26, at Institut Français Rwanda, Kimihurura.

Drawing inspiration from his Rwandan heritage and his encounters with different cultures during his musical journey, Mani Martin has created a captivating fusion of styles that transcends borders and languages. The album comprising eight songs is a collection of carefully crafted songs that delve into a range of emotions, addressing personal experiences, societal issues, and the beauty of love and resilience.

"Music enthusiast should expect good music that is all I can promise. I expect my fans to show up and celebrate music with me and other artistes with me on stage. Music is all about sharing and in this concert I will definitely be sharing the stage with different artistes. To be able to deliver the quality live music that I do it takes working with different artists, starting from my band, Kesho Band and others who contribute to the performance," said Mani Martin.

The singer said that he has been envisioning the concert for a long time and believes the right time is now. He is looking forward to the most precious musical moment with people.

"When an album is released you start thinking of how you can tour (at least nationwide) to share it with all the lovers of your music around the country. That's basically what I am planning so far," he added.

Mani Martin collaborated with artistes on the album like Soul Bang from Guinea and Bill Ruzima. The album was produced by MadeBeats while the sound, mixing and mastering was done by Bob Pro and Niz Beats, Bill Ruzima, Deborah Humura, Peace Hoziyana and Patrick Nyamitari are a big part of the vocals on the album.

Entrance fee is at RWF10, 000 and first copies of the album will be sold at RWF100, 000 and above.

Nomade album is Mani Martin's sixth studio album after his memorable ones such us 'Afro' which he released in 2017, 'My Destiny' released in 2012, 'Intero Y'Amahoro' released in 2011, 'Icyo Dupfana' which was released in 2010 and his first album 'Isaha ya 9' released in 2008.
