Kenya: Former Health PS Mburu Says She Was Not Involved in KEMSA Mosquito Net Tender

Nairobi — Former Health Principal Secretary Josephine Mburu says she was not in office when the procurement process of the Mosquito net tender at the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority commenced.

Appearing before the Senate Health Committee Tuesday, Mburu further stated that KEMSA was not in her docket.

She stated that she was also not an accounting officer for global funds.

She recalled that when she was fired, she got the information through the media while she was working.
