"For us to uphold peace in this county (Turkana), We must increase the number of administrative units. We will continue to add more sub-locations, locations and divisions to bring services closer to the people," Kindiki said.

He also stated that the government has begun the process of recruiting administrators to fill all the existing administrative units that are currently lacking administration personnel.

Kindiki announced that the positions will be filled in under 30 days.

As part of the efforts to enhance education in the county, CS Kindiki said that the Government will disburse funds to rehabilitate the schools that were destroyed by bandits in the county that has witnessed sporadic attacks.
