Africa: New Afropop Top Videos - June 12

We've just added eleven new videos to the Afropop Top Video Playlist on YouTube. As usual, some amazing music and visuals here. There's new work by Siselabonga of South Africa, Brooklyn's Dawn Drake, Cuban troubadour Eliades Ochoa, Reggaeton diva Karol G channelling Bobby McFerrin, Afro-Dominican bandleader Yasser Tejeda channelling soukous, Congolese-Canadian percussionist/bandleader Kizaba kicking hard, Aaron Neville teaming up with the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, the transcendent Dayme Arocena of Cuba, Brazilian samba from Miami's Gafieira Rio Miami and more.

We draw special attention to three of the new entries, but we encourage you to check out the whole list.

First, two of our favorite Ghanaian artists, reggae powerhouse Rocky Dawuni and palm wine maestro Kyekyeku have teamed up on a moving, grooving love song to the continent, "Africa Till I Die."

Next, Bokanté, a Caribbean-oriented ensemble from the larger Snarky Puppy family, has a new album, launching with this striking dance video, "Adjoni."

And third, hot off the presses today, long awaited new work from the lads from Victoria Falls, Mokoomba. This band's pan-African sound is stronger than ever, with Mathias Muzaza's keening lead vocal tearing up the mix backed by a rich male chorus and the band newly enhanced with a brass section. And the Afro-futuristic visuals in the video for "Makisi" are not to be missed!
