Ethiopia: PM Will Present Budget Year Performance, Respond to Questions From MPs Tomorrow

Addis Ababa — : Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed will present his 2015 EFY performance report to the House of People's Representatives (HPR) and respond to questions to be posed by the members.

According to a press release of the HPR, the 28th regular session of the House will be held tomorrow.

At the regular meeting, the premier will respond to questions and give explanation to issues raised in connection with the 2015 Ethiopian fiscal year performance report of the federal government.

Ambassadors of various countries residing in Addis Ababa, representatives of international organizations, religious leaders and other invited guests will attend the meeting.

During the session, the House is also expected to examine the report and recommendations of the Standing Committee on Planning, Budget and Finance on the draft budget for the 2016 fiscal year and approve the budget.

The entire proceedings of the meeting will be broadcasted live on the Facebook page of the House and YouTube channel.
