Kenya: Kalonzo Says Azimio Mulling Taking IG Koome to ICC Over Killings During Demos

Mwingi — Wiper Democratic Movement Leader Hon Kalonzo Musyoka has given the clearest indication from Azimio that the coalition might be planning to institute a criminal case against the inspector general of police at the International Criminal Court (ICC) over the killings of civilians during peaceful demonstrations.

Kalonzo stated that ICC holds individuals bearing highest responsibility over institutions and so the inspector general is responsible for the actions of the police service

He pointed out that Azimio has been holding peaceful demonstrations and meetings across the country but whenever police join the demonstrations, hell breaks loose.

Wiper Leader who was speaking Sunday at the Full Gospel Churches of Kenya - Mwingi, where he attended Sunday service, took time to explain the journey they have come through and concessions they have made during talks with Kenya Kwanza to avert crisis.

Leaders accompanying Kalonzo vowed to continue demonstrations in the coming week to force Kenya Kwanza to listen to the plight of Kenyans.
