Somalia: Somali President Arrives in Italy Ahead of UN Summit

Rome, Italy — The President of Somalia has arrived in Rome to attend a three-day high-level United Nations Food Systems Summit Stock.

Hassan Sheikh Mohamud departed the country on Sunday accompanied by foreign minister and other senior officials to represent Somalia in the Summit.

The Summit is set to kick off on Monday, July 23, 2023.
