Chief Economist and Vice President for Economic Governance and Knowledge Management of the Bank Group, Prof. Kevin Chika Urama, will present key findings from the flagship report titled "Mobilizing Private Sector Financing for Climate and Green Growth in Africa".

Amid a growing push for global action to support climate action and green growth, the 2023 report estimates that Africa offers a trillion-dollar investment opportunity for the private sector.

The presentation will highlight, among others, how the public and private sectors in the Nordic region can successfully partner with African nations to drive sustainable development on the continent. The event will also allow participants to engage with the African Development Bank and gain insights into Africa's green transition opportunities.
