On behalf of the Government of the United States of America, I offer my warm congratulations to the people of Zambia on your 59th Independence Day celebration.

The United States remains committed to strengthening our partnership with Zambia, built on our shared commitment to democracy, inclusive economic growth, security cooperation, and health security. Today provides a joyous occasion to reflect on our shared progress while looking ahead to greater opportunities for prosperity.
