Uganda: NBS Sport Continues to Be a Champion of Local Resource Mobilization and Social Impact

26 October 2023

NBS Sport has continued to significantly impact the community through its partnership with the AIDS Support Organization (TASO).

NBS Sport's involvement in the TASO Run, a noble initiative to bridge unmet needs, exemplifies its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Nicholas Ngobi, the Brand Manager at NBS Sport, emphasizes their belief in TASO's mission to support underserved communities, particularly in education costs.

He highlights the TASO Run's role as a beacon of local resource mobilization, uniting efforts to bridge the gap between unmet needs and achievable dreams.

Beyond financial contributions, the TASO Run is also an avenue to encourage local resource mobilization and build community confidence.

TASO's membership structure, which allows individuals to subscribe to various membership categories and participate in decision-making, further aligns with NBS Sport's belief in community participation.

By supporting local resource mobilization, addressing critical unmet needs, contributing to the development of Ugandan sports, and fostering a sense of community responsibility, NBS Sport is making a real difference in the lives of many.
