Nairobi — Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki has been ranked top performing in President William Ruto's administration in a new survey by TIFA.
He is followed by Musalia Mudavadi, who holds the position of Prime Cabinet Secretary and Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary.
Mudavadi secured the second position with a 62 percent approval rating. Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu claimed the third spot with a commendable 58 percent rating.
Health Cabinet Secretary Susan Nakhumicha earned the fourth position, receiving a solid 57 percent approval rating. Meanwhile, Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen rounded off the top five Cabinet Secretaries with an equally impressive 57 percent approval rating.
The survey, conducted between November 25 and December 7, 2023, gathered responses from 1,530 participants via phone interviews.
Kindiki, the former Tharaka Nithi Senator, secured an impressive 65 percent approval rating in the survey.
This isn't the first time he has achieved this recognition, as he was previously ranked as the best-performing Cabinet Secretary in similar polls conducted in March and July.
The data collected for this survey included responses from various regions across the country, including Coast, Nairobi, Nyanza, South Rift, Western, Lower Eastern, Mt Kenya, Northern, and Central Rift regions.
