Egypt: Health Min. - Egypt's Birth Rates Dropped 8 Percent in 2023

Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar has announced that Egypt's birth rates went down by 8% in 2023, compared to 2022.

Birth rates declined in the past five years from 3.5 to 2.85 for a woman, Spokesman for the ministry said.
