The rigorous selection process for Probationer Police Constables (PPCs) in the North Kyoga Region concluded with the final interviews held in Amolatar and Otuke Districts
In Amolatar District, out of the 34 shortlisted candidates, an impressive turnout of 32 candidates participated in the interviews, demonstrating their dedication and enthusiasm for joining the Uganda Police Force (UPF).
Similarly, in Otuke District, 14 applicants participated in the interviews out of the 16 shortlisted candidates.
Led by ACP Ramathan Doka, the candidates underwent written assessments, a 5km run, medical checkups, and oral interviews.
The day-long exercise concluded, ensuring a thorough evaluation of each candidate's suitability for the PPC position.
Overall, a total of 509 candidates, comprising 165 girls and 344 boys, were interviewed for the PPC positions in the North Kyoga Region.
Despite the impressive turnout, 38 candidates did not appear for the interviews.
However, with a grand total of 547 shortlisted candidates, the UPF is poised to strengthen its workforce with dedicated and capable individuals committed to serving their communities.
Both team leaders expressed their gratitude to the candidates for their participation and encouraged them to remain disciplined and patient as they await the results of the interviews and subsequent training invitations.
