What: Launch of Civil Society Organizations Women Business Associations Mapping Project

Who: The African Development Bank's Gender, Women and Civil Society Department

Where: African Development Bank headquarters, Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire and online.

The Bank's Gender, Women and Civil Society Department with the Vice Presidency for Regional Development, Integration, and Service Delivery are proud to launch the CSO Women Business Associations Mapping Project and how mapping businesswomen's associations will unlock critical opportunities and resources.

Supported by the Affirmative Finance Action for Women in Africa and the Gender Equality Trust Fund, the project seeks to identify and map 160 small and medium-sized businesswomen's associations across 16 African countries yet to be recognized by Bank studies or other international institutions.
