Kenya: Govt Has No Budget to Pay Blood Money for Munyakho - Mudavadi

Nairobi — Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi says there is no budget provision from the government to pay the Sh150 million blood money for Stephen Munyakho, the Kenyan facing execution in Saudi Arabia.

Appearing before the Senate plenary on Wednesday, Mudavadi indicated that the state is however seeking to have the amount reduced.
