Nairobi — The State House website has pulled down names of Cabinet Secretaries fired by President William Ruto Thursday afternoon.
The name of Attorney General Justin Muturi has also been removed following his dismissal.
The timeline for the new Cabinet is still unknown.
While making the announcement, President Ruto retained only Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi amid pressure from the Generation Z Movement.
The affected Cabinet Secretaries include Kithure Kindiki (Interior and National Administration), Njuguna Ndung'u (National Treasury),Aisha Jumwa (Gender and Affirmative Action),Aden Duale (Defence ),Zachariah Njeru (Water and Sanitation) ,Soipan Tuya (Environment and Forestry), Ezekiel Machogu (Education),Penina Malonza ,(East African Community) and Suzan Nakhumicha (Health).
Others are Rebecca Miano(Trade and Investment), Salim Mvurya (Mining and Blue Economy),Simon Chelugui (Cooperatives) ,Moses Kuria (Public Service, Performance and Delivery Management ),Alfred Mutua,(Tourism and Wildlife),Kipchumba Murkomen(Road and Transport),Alice Wahome(Lands and Urban development),Eliud Owalo (ICT and Digital Economy),Mithika Linturi (Agriculture),Ababu Namwamba (Sports),Davis Chirchir (Energy and Petroleum ), and Florence Bore(Labour and Social Protection).
President William Ruto vowed to engage in extensive consultations including setting up a 'broad-based government' to accelerate reforms targeted at taming wastage in his Administration .
Ruto noted that the broad-based government will help accelerate and expedite the much needed urgent interventions for the Nation.
"Upon reflection, listening keenly to what the people of Kenya have said, I will immediately engage in extensive consultations across different sectors and political formations, with the aim of setting up a broad-based government," he said.

Ruto stated that the new formation will assist his government in implementing radical programmes that will focus on raising domestic resources, expanding job opportunities and managing the Nation's huge debt.
According to Him this will eliminate wastage and unnecessary duplication of government agencies.
"A broad-based government will assist me in expediting the necessary, urgent and irreversible, implementation of radical programmes to deal with the burden of debt, raising domestic resources, expanding job opportunities, eliminating wastage and unnecessary duplication of a multiplicity of government agencies," he stated.
Ruto asserted that recent events witnessed in the country including anti Finance Bill 2024 protests that propelled withdrawal of the contentious Bill pushed for the need to review his government budget and fiscal management.
President Ruto's address today comes almost a week after he announced that his administration rolled out a series of austerity measures aimed at curbing government expenditure including plan to dissolve 47 State Corporations with overlapping and duplicative functions.
