Kenya: Twiga Tours Scoops Tripadvisor's Travellers' Choice Awards

Nairobi — Kenyan tour company Twiga Tours has scooped Tripadvisor's Travelers' Choice Awards for 2024.

The firm emerged at the top after receiving consistent reviews from travelers worldwide.

Tripadvisor is a Massachusetts-based company that operates online travel agencies, comparison shopping sites, and mobile apps.

Twiga was started by Minaz Manji and his late fathers after they came back to Kenya from the United Kingdom (UK).

It offers safari services to countries such as Tanzania and Kenya, as well as Rwanda and Uganda.

Some of the popular safari destinations include Maasai Mara National Reserve, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Conservation Area, among others.

In 2022, it was named the world's leading tour company by the World Travel Award (WTA) in Muscat, Oman.

The firm was also recognized in 2013 by the World Travel Awards as the World's Responsible Tourism Company and the World's Leading Luxury Safari Company.
