Zambia: Germany Hails Zambia's Governance Record

German Food and Agriculture Minister Cem Ozdemir says Zambia's good governance record has motivated his government to continue providing economic and financial assistance.

Mr Ozdemir adds that German businesses in various sectors are willing to invest and partner with Zambians.

He was speaking when he led a delegation to meet President Hakainde Hichilema at State House in Lusaka yesterday.

He said Germany was impressed with Zambia's strong human rights record, adherence to the rule of law, and commitment to democratic principles.
