Nairobi — The Micro and Small Enterprises Authority (MSEA) and SNV have unveiled a two-year strategic partnership to boost Kenya's Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), with a focus on women and youth-led businesses.
The collaboration seeks to drive sustainable economic growth by fostering entrepreneurship through policy monitoring tools and awareness forums. SNV's Country Director for Kenya and Burundi, Rebecca Hallam, highlighted the partnership's transformative potential, emphasizing its goal to unlock the MSME sector's capacity.
MSEA CEO Henry Rithaa affirmed the Authority's dedication to creating lasting impacts for entrepreneurs, leveraging technology and data to enhance program adaptability.
Through its IYBA-SEED project, SNV will offer tailored support to entrepreneurs in Uasin Gishu, Kisumu, and Nakuru Counties, promoting women-led ventures and equipping businesses with resources for growth.
