Congratulations to Towera Neba on obtaining her MBA! After earning a degree in economics, her experience with women entrepreneurs motivated her to pursue an MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship, giving her the skills to understand better and address their business challenges. Now, as the Women Creating Wealth Country Coordinator in Malawi, Towera brings valuable insights, guidance, and technical expertise to enhance the program and support entrepreneurs in achieving their goals. She said, "Working with women entrepreneurs inspired me to study for an MBA to help the entrepreneurs we serve better."

Faith Namalwa, our Women Creating Wealth Youth Lead and the owner of Glam and Poppy Accessories, was recently honoured as a Gold Winner in the Fashion Accessories category at the KE Digitally Fit Awards 2024 (East Africa Edition). This prestigious recognition celebrates brands that are making a meaningful impact online. In addition, Faith was awarded a Certificate of Excellence for her outstanding achievements. Dalree de Lange, Senior Officer for our Adolescent Girls' Movement, represented the Trust at The Amazon Leadership Initiative (TheALI) Annual Leadership Forum in Nairobi, Kenya, under the theme Black Girl, Your Dreams Are Valid. She was chosen for her leadership, passion, and commitment to supporting and inspiring young female leaders in public, business, and civic spheres. Dalree embodies our Adolescent Girls' Movement mission--to help girls recognise their brilliance and find their voices. The forum highlighted the power of women leaders in shaping Africa's future. Now is the time to turn ideas into action and drive meaningful change!
