Zimbabwe: Craft Properties Diversifies

Craft Properties, a real estate company, will diversify operations by launching a security services company, Never Sleep Security, in 2025.

The company would offer specialised and confidential security services.

The property development company said the new enterprise would contribute to national efforts in combating the growing scourge of robberies, theft and criminality now common in many parts of Zimbabwe.

Never Sleep Security will offer surveillance services, including closed-circuit television cameras and security guards.

As part of its generous security advice ahead of the launch of the new company, Craft Properties warned business owners against storing hard cash and items of high value in their homes and offices.

"Never Sleep Security, is expected to be fully operational in 2025. The company was formed to address the need for specialised and confidential services in security and investigations.

"We take immense pride in our unique approach to the business of security service provision, we train and vet security guards before posting them to sites.

"With a comprehensive strategy to mitigate the possibility of theft or injury to persons within the facility, we are in the process of recruiting senior and experienced staff who would steer our ship to greater coasts," said Craft Properties in a statement.

As part of its good corporate citizen responsibilities, the company has been assisting people living with disabilities in Kadoma where it has initiated a poultry project for which it will provide 5 000 broiler chicks to be kept and sold at a profit.

It has also introduced a company bursary scheme that offers financial assistance to various underprivileged students across the country.

Under the scheme, Craft Properties pays school fees, and buys stationery and school uniforms for several underprivileged pupils. The company recently financial responsibility for 48 learners from Easterlea Primary School, from ECD level to grade 7s.

The company promised to remain resolute in supporting learners who excel in their studies until they reach tertiary level.

The company's other charitable projects in the pipeline include partnerships with several rural district councils across the country, including in Masvingo.

"By empowering others to be independent and motivating them to generate their own income, we are consequently empowering them to lead."
