Uganda: Upcoming Masterclass to Equip Job Seekers, Professionals With Skills to Excel in Remote Jobs

Job seekers and professionals across Uganda are set to benefit from the upcoming 'Remote Work Masterclass', an event that will equip them with rare career skills.

The event is set for March 15, 2025, at Four Points by Sheraton Kampala.

Organized by Beyond the Savannah, a leading career coaching firm, this event will equip Ugandans with the knowledge and skills needed to find, secure, and excel in well-paying remote jobs.

The masterclass will be led by Lorraine Otieno, a respected HR professional and founder of Beyond the Savannah.

"With years of experience guiding young professionals to successful careers, Lorraine will provide practical advice on how to stand out in the global job market, attract remote opportunities, and build a stable career working from anywhere," organisers said in a statement.

"As more companies hire remotely, the demand for skilled professionals who can work online has never been higher. This masterclass is designed to help job seekers, freelancers, and entrepreneurs make the most of these opportunities."

Officials said during the masterclass, job seekers and professionals will find and apply for remote jobs that pay well, get essential skills that employers look for in remote workers, how to manage time and stay productive, balancing work and personal life while working remotely

and networking with professionals and potential employers

According to organisers, physical attendance will go for shs150,000, shs100,000 for online participation and shs70,000 for students.
