Zimbabwe: Vendors Stay Put in Harare CBD, Ignore Government Directive

Vendors in Harare's central business district (CBD) are still operating, defying a government directive ordering them to vacate the streets.

Last week, government instructed the Harare City Council to remove vendors from the CBD within 48 hours; however, days later, they are still there.
