Tunis — President of the Republic Kais Saied named Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri as new Prime Minister, replacing Kamel Madouri.

Kamel Madouri was appointed PM last August as part of a major cabinet reshuffle.

During a meeting on Thursday with the newly appointed Prime Minister, President Saied pointed out the need to maximise the cohesion of government action and to iron out all obstacles with a view to meeting the Tunisian people's expectations, according to a Presidency of the Republic press release.
