Zambia: 'Hold Your Horses'

The Government has told the Resident Doctors Association of Zambia (RDAZ) to implore its members not to withdraw their services as it continues to engage and find solutions to the impasse over salary increments and other conditions of service.

Health Minister Elijah Muchima said the Ministry of Health had called for an emergency meeting with the RDAZ to discuss their concerns.

RDAZ had called for the withdrawal of voluntary health services effective today.
