The African Development Institute--the African Development Bank's focal unit for capacity development support to its regional member countries--will host a virtual Information and Library Learning Series Webinar on June 13, 2025, with the theme, "EMPOWER AFRICA: Understanding Capacity Gaps in Fragile & Transitional Contexts - Emerging Lessons for Better Programming."

The webinar will provide insights from the recent Country Capacity Development Needs Assessments conducted in the Central African Republic, Guinea Bissau, Somalia, and South Sudan, with a focus on emerging lessons and actionable strategies to improve the Bank's programming and drive sustainable development.
