Nairobi — Standard Chartered Bank has bagged four awards at the 2025 Middle East & Africa (MEA) Retail Banking Innovation Awards, underscoring its push to expand digital wealth management solutions across the region.
The lender was named Best Hybrid Wealth Management Offering - EMEA and Best Wealth Manager for the Mass Affluent for its mix of digital tools and personalised advisory services. It also won Best Digital Wealth Platform - EMEA for its SC Mobile app, through which over 90 percent of its investment solutions are accessed.
The bank further received the Wealth Hub of the Year award, recognising its cross-border advisory services and new Priority Private Centre targeting high-net-worth diaspora clients.
"This dual approach ensures clients across all segments, from emerging affluent to high-net-worth individuals, receive high-quality, personalised services. We are leveraging technology to scale solutions while maintaining the human touch that's critical for meaningful financial planning," said Edith Chumba, Head of Wealth & Retail Banking at Standard Chartered.
The recognition comes weeks after the bank rolled out its "Now's Your Time for Wealth" campaign in Kenya, aimed at helping clients grow and transfer wealth.
