Now in its fifth year, the Vumbula Festival has grown into one of Uganda's most vibrant celebrations of art, culture, and adventure.

This edition is expected to attract more than 10,000 revellers, including young Ugandans and members of the diaspora returning home for the long weekend.

Festival-goers can expect live performances from leading Ugandan musicians, traditional dance troupes, drumming sessions, art installations, and interactive cultural showcases.

Tourism activations will also highlight Uganda's hidden destinations, promoting domestic travel and local tourism.

Tickets are available online via momoticketing.com and at selected outlets. A full three-day pass costs Shs100,000 at the gate, though a limited offer allows festival-goers paying via MTN MoMo to secure entry for Shs50,000.

The festival is supported by several major sponsors, including Uganda Waragi, Uganda Tourism Board, the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, Coca-Cola, MTN, 22Bet, and Inspire Africa Group.

Organisers promise a high-energy experience celebrating Uganda's creativity and cultural heritage--a fitting way to mark Independence weekend.
