KCB Bank Uganda has concluded its annual customer service week with a grand celebration at its head office, marking the end of a spirited week of nationwide activities centered around the theme "Mission Possible."
The bank transformed its 15 branches into interactive hubs of customer engagement, employee camaraderie, and community outreach. Staff embraced themed dress days--ranging from traditional wear to smart corporate attire--while participating in a series of team-building activities that brought to life the week's unifying theme.
Key highlights included the launch of a major environmental initiative aligned with the bank's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) agenda.
KCB Bank Uganda has pledged to plant over 15,000 trees by the end of 2025, with tree planting activities already underway at St. Benedict Grade School in Wanyange and Charlton Nursery and Primary School.

During the grand finale event, KCB Bank Uganda staff came together in a high-energy celebration that showcased the dedication of its workforce.
Speaking at the event, Edgar Byamah, Managing Director, expressed pride in the week's activities:
"This week was about serving and connecting. Seeing our teams--Closer, Connected, and Courageous--delivering exceptional service while giving back to the community fills me with immense pride. Our mission is truly possible because of the heart and dedication of our people."
Sheila Awori, the acting Head of Marketing and Communications, noted that the "Mission Possible" theme resonated deeply with staff across all branches.
"From cultural dress codes to environmental action, every activity was designed to foster a shared sense of purpose. The energy across all 15 branches has been incredible. Today's celebration is our way of thanking the team for their commitment to excellence and community impact."
The week culminated in a recognition ceremony, where Team Courageous was awarded shs 5 million for outstanding team spirit. Team Connected and Team Closer received shs 3 million and shs 2 million respectively.
Jovita Musimenta, Customer Experience Manager, emphasized the broader impact of the initiative:
"Mission Possible is about making financial solutions achievable for every customer, every day. It's a reflection of our proactive approach to service and continuous improvement."
