Nairobi — Upper Hill tops Nairobi's suburbs with the most expensive one-acre piece of land at Sh554.6 million, according to the latest HassConsult Land Price Index, amid growing demand for mixed-use developments.

The Quarter Three (Q3) report, covering the period between July and September, shows Westlands follows closely at Sh504 million, while Parklands ranks third at Sh465.6 million.

Other high-priced suburbs include Kilimani (Sh422.8 million), Muthangari (Sh400.9 million), and Riverside (Sh360.5 million).

HassConsult attributes the continued rise in land prices in these areas to their strategic locations, extensive infrastructure development, and favorable zoning, which have spurred demand for property and commercial developments.

In satellite towns, Ruaka leads with an acre priced at Sh111.1 million, followed by Kiambu (Sh48.7 million) and Syokimau (Sh39.9 million), reflecting investor preference for well-connected suburban growth corridors.
