NAIROBI, Kenya, November 2, 2025 - Olympics bronze medallist Benson Kipruto won the New York Marathon in a dramatic, photo finish, ahead of fellow Kenyan, Alexander Mutiso.
Kipruto clocked 2:08:09 in what was a neck-to-neck battle with Mutiso, who finished second, also in 2:08:09.
Another Kenyan, Albert Korir, came third in 2:08:57 in what was a podium sweep for the country.
