Uganda: Musa Kyagulanyi Vows Youth-Led Transformative Leadership for Kawempe South

15 December 2025

Independent parliamentary candidate for Kawempe South, Kyagulanyi Musa, has reaffirmed his commitment to transformative and energetic leadership, emphasizing youth-driven solutions to the constituency's challenges if elected on 15 January 2026.

Speaking during the Kawempe South Parliamentary Debate hosted by NBS Television on Sunday, Kyagulanyi applauded the broadcaster for providing a platform where candidates could openly share their visions and engage directly with the electorate.

"I thank NBS Television for the opportunity to gather us here as candidates to share our ideas. I believe that, among all of us, I am the youngest, with the strength and tenacity to take Kawempe forward," he said.

Kyagulanyi highlighted the need for fresh leadership, noting that Kawempe South requires leaders who understand the realities faced by youth, informal workers, and families struggling with unemployment, poor infrastructure, and limited access to essential services.
