15 December 2025

The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) parliamentary aspirant for Kawempe South, Faisal Ddamulira, has reaffirmed his commitment to delivering transformative, law-centered leadership if elected on 15 January 2026.

Speaking during the Kawempe South Parliamentary Debate hosted by NBS Television on Sunday, Ddamulira highlighted his professional background as a key pillar of his candidacy, emphasizing the importance of legal expertise in legislative work.

"I have presented myself in this race as a well-trained lawyer, and in Parliament, we legislate guided by the law. I believe there will be meaningful change in Kawempe," he said.

Ddamulira is set to face Nansubuga Fatima of the Democratic Front (DF), Fred Nyanzi Ssentamu of the National Unity Platform (NUP), Ssekungu Hassan of the People's Front for Freedom (PFF), Madina Ntale Nsereko of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM), Dafala Ssekanjako of the Common Man's Party (CMP), as well as independent candidates Muhammed Ssenyonga, Musa Kyagulanyi, Roy Ssemboga, and Umar Nsubuga.
